Not Everyone's Going On A Summer Holiday

Reacting today to a study by Croner, the workplace advisors that found that many employees failed to take summer holidays John McClean, GMB National health and Safety Director, said: ``At a time when the Government is finally consulting on the introduction of the eight public holidays into everyone's holiday entitlement it is ironic that not everyone takes their full entitlement to annual leave.
Anyone who works needs time off away from their job, to enjoy the family and leisure time that is so necessary to recharge our physical and mental capacities. It is acknowledged that well rested workers are more productive workers and holidays are part of the resting process.
